This is a set of images taken with Julia Wagner as part of my “Seen From Below” project. Posing completely nude on a transparent glass platform, Julia creates a dramatic illusion of weightlessness through an extraordinary arrangement of her body. With one leg extended outward, the other folded beneath her, and both arms raised above her head, she appears to tumble through an endless white void. Her voluminous curls, expressive gaze, and sculptural positioning introduce a sense of movement and controlled chaos. Photographed entirely from beneath, the unconventional perspective transforms the natural human form into an abstract study of anatomy, balance, and artistic expression. This collection explores the illusion of flight while challenging traditional approaches to nude photography. Photographed in studio on 05-21-2022.
