Description
This is a set of images taken with Julia Wagner as part of my “Bodyscapes” project. Using artistic nudity and dramatic low-key lighting, Julia’s body becomes an abstract landscape of curves, shadows, and delicate highlights. Reclining against a black backdrop, her carefully positioned legs and natural contours create a sculptural composition in which the human form emerges from almost complete darkness. Subtle rim lighting traces the curves of her figure, emphasizing texture and shape while allowing much of the image to remain concealed in shadow. This collection explores the relationship between light and the nude human body, transforming intimate details into abstract fine-art photography. Photographed in studio on 10-21-2022.
