Description
This is a set of images taken with Julia Wagner as part of my “Mail Order Bride” project. Taking the concept of mail-order companionship to its most revealing extreme, Julia poses completely nude inside an oversized cardboard shipping box filled with soft white packing material. Her dark curls spill across the packaging as she curls her body into the confined space, creating an intimate composition photographed from directly above. The contrast between her natural figure and the ordinary cardboard packaging introduces a provocative blend of artistic nudity, playful humor, and unconventional storytelling. With nothing left to unwrap, this collection offers a satirical interpretation of human beauty packaged, shipped, and delivered like an everyday consumer product.
