Description

This is a set of images taken with Jessi Hardin as part of my “Liquid Latex” project. Covered in vibrant blue liquid latex across her chest, torso, and hips, Jessi poses between flowing white sheer curtains as she begins the process of peeling the dried latex from her body. Her expressive poses and dramatic facial expressions capture the sensation of removing the painted material, revealing the natural skin beneath. The dripping blue patterns, textured latex, and translucent white fabric create a striking contrast against the bright studio backdrop. “Shedding the Blue” combines experimental body painting, artistic nude photography, and creative portraiture, documenting the transformation from a fully painted figure to the gradual removal of the latex. Photographed in studio on 01-03-2015.
