This is a set of images taken with Jessi Hardin as part of my “Liquid Latex” project. Posing beneath flowing white sheer fabric, Jessi creates a haunting and emotional composition featuring vibrant blue liquid latex applied to her face and body. The blue streaks resembling tears run down her cheeks, while branching latex patterns across her torso add an abstract, artistic element to the collection. Her red lipstick, expressive gaze, and hands gently gripping the translucent fabric enhance the dramatic mood. The soft studio lighting and white backdrop contrast beautifully with the bold blue latex, emphasizing the textures, colors, and delicate layers of fabric. “Tears Beneath the Veil” combines experimental body art, creative portraiture, and fine art photography into an evocative exploration of vulnerability, beauty, and emotion.
