Description
This is a set of images taken with Jessi Hardin as part of my “Fallout Fems” project. Posing topless while wearing a black gas mask and holding a large scythe, Jessi transforms a traditional Christmas setting into a dark, post-apocalyptic scene. Surrounded by artificial cobwebs, spiders, and a decorated Christmas tree, she creates a striking contrast between holiday cheer and the harsh realities of a world devastated by fallout. Her dramatic poses, protective mask, and ominous weapon bring a sense of danger and survival to the collection, while the dim lighting, brick fireplace, and abandoned-looking decorations enhance the unsettling atmosphere. “Survival After Christmas” combines alternative glamour photography, post-apocalyptic storytelling, and dark holiday imagery, imagining a lone survivor navigating the remnants of a once-festive world. Photographed in studio on 01-03-2015.
