Description
This is a set of images taken with Julia Wagner as part of my “Portal” project. Posing completely nude on a platform covered in artificial grass, Julia appears to be crawling out of a mysterious opening that connects two different worlds. Her arched back, extended arms, and cascading dark curls create the impression of a figure struggling to emerge from an unknown dimension. Dramatic studio lighting accentuates the contours of her body, while the stark black background and vibrant green surface create an unusual contrast between reality and the supernatural. Blending artistic nude photography, surrealism, and experimental set design, this collection explores the mysterious boundary between emergence and disappearance, leaving viewers to wonder whether Julia is entering our world or escaping into another. Photographed in studio on 05-21-2022.
