This is a set of images taken with Julia Wagner as part of my “Mail Order Bride” project. Trading her previous outfit for striking red lace lingerie, Julia becomes the ultimate special delivery. Reclining inside an oversized cardboard shipping box filled with soft white packing material, she strikes a provocative pose, her dark curls spread beneath her as she gazes directly toward the camera. The intricate red lace contrasts beautifully with the ordinary brown cardboard and white packaging, transforming an everyday shipping container into an unconventional boudoir setting. Blending sensuality, playful humor, and social satire, this collection takes the concept of mail-order companionship to an absurd extreme, suggesting that some packages deserve a little extra attention upon arrival.
