Dragons

Dragons is a vibrant, whimsical, and mythically inspired photo series that brings fantasy to life—pairing beautiful models with a striking, oversized plastic dragon in vivid green, yellow, and crimson red. This fire-eyed creature may not breathe real flames, but it ignites the imagination, setting the stage for a playful collision of glamour, fantasy, and visual storytelling.

At its heart, this project is about merging the fantastical with the tangible. Dragons have always captured the human imagination—symbols of power, mystery, chaos, and sometimes wisdom. They appear in cultures across the world: revered in Eastern traditions, feared in Western mythology, and loved universally by fans of fantasy art and epic storytelling. With their coiled strength and untamed energy, dragons are the ultimate mythical companion—and in this series, they become the perfect foil for the modern muse.

The star of this series is a large, plastic, vividly colored dragon—green and gold-scaled, with piercing red eyes and a personality all its own. Far from high-end CGI or cinematic realism, this dragon is a deliberately surreal element—boldly artificial, unapologetically playful, and yet oddly imposing. Positioned beside or behind the models, it acts as protector, prop, guardian, or mischief-maker depending on the scene.

The models bring beauty, mystery, and attitude to the frame. Whether posing in armor-inspired fashion, minimalist lingerie, or ethereal fabrics, each model finds her own way to interact with the dragon. Some ride it like a creature from legend. Others lounge beside it like a modern-day Daenerys. Some laugh, flirt, or stare it down with warrior-like focus. The interplay between the real and the imagined—the softness of the human form and the hard edges of molded plastic—creates a visual tension that’s as absurd as it is beautiful.

But this isn’t just cosplay or fantasy portraiture. It’s about transformation through context. Placing these elegant, confident women beside a kitschy dragon creates an unexpected narrative—a visual joke, a surreal story, a moment frozen between fantasy and reality. The models remain the stars of the frame, but the dragon alters the tone: adding drama, whimsy, or a playful threat to the scene.

Dragons is a celebration of contrast. The artificial and the organic. The mythical and the modern. The beautiful and the bizarre. It invites viewers to suspend disbelief and embrace the absurd elegance of it all. It’s a reminder that art doesn’t have to take itself too seriously to be powerful. That fantasy can be plastic and still be captivating.

Each shoot in this series is a new myth waiting to be told. The dragon is always the same—but the stories change with every new face, every new pose, every new spark of imagination.
