Description
This is a set of images taken with Saturn Werde as part of my “Cocoon” project. Wearing a sheer black stretch fabric with strategically placed openings, Saturn explores the delicate balance between concealment and exposure as she pulls and stretches the material across her body. Her platinum blonde hair, expressive poses, and relaxed, upward-tilted head bring an intimate quality to the collection. The torn and stretched fabric creates unusual patterns against her skin, while the solid black backdrop and dramatic studio lighting emphasize the textures, shadows, and natural contours of her figure. “Unraveling in Black” combines experimental fabric styling, artistic figure photography, and alternative boudoir portraiture, continuing the “Cocoon” project’s exploration of transformation, vulnerability, and the human form.
