For my “Portal” project, Rae Ramsey begins partially hidden inside the opening before slowly emerging into the frame in an intricate arrangement of straps and chains. The progression transforms the gallery into a strange visual journey from concealment to full reveal. Photographed in studio on 03-01-2022.
