Description
This is a set of images taken with Saturn Werde as part of my “Bone Collection” project. Posing completely nude alongside a human skeleton prop, Saturn creates a playful yet haunting contrast between living flesh and bare bones. Her platinum blonde hair, dramatic eye makeup, and expressive poses bring personality to the collection as she embraces the skeleton and incorporates it into her movements. The solid black backdrop and carefully controlled studio lighting emphasize the differences in texture, shape, and form between Saturn’s body and the skeletal figure. “Till Death Do Us Pose” combines artistic nude photography, dark humor, and macabre imagery, exploring the relationship between life, death, and the human form through an unconventional studio portrait series.
