This is a set of images taken with El The Belle as part of my “Cosplay” project. Taking her fascination with the infamous Chucky doll to a darker level, El cradles the notorious killer across her lap in a twisted interpretation of affection and horror. Wearing a revealing black bodysuit, a spiked choker, and black boots, she brings her distinctive alternative style to this unconventional cosplay collection. Her relaxed pose, dramatic makeup, colorful tattoos, and platinum blonde hair contrast with Chucky’s recognizable orange hair and colorful outfit. Set against a completely black backdrop, the dramatic studio lighting creates an intimate atmosphere with an unsettling edge. Combining horror movie nostalgia, alternative boudoir photography, and dark humor, “My Killer Valentine” explores the bizarre romance between beauty and everyone’s favorite murderous doll.
