Color was never meant to stay inside the lines.
It begins with a mark—a streak across bare skin, a stain where flesh once remained untouched. Then it spreads. Reds deepen, blacks consume, and brilliant colors crawl across the body until skin becomes canvas and the person beneath it begins to disappear.
Bodies of Color explores the transformation of the human form through pigment, texture, and contrast. Paint no longer decorates the body; it overtakes it, obscuring familiar shapes and replacing natural flesh with something stranger, brighter, and increasingly difficult to recognize.
There is beauty in the transformation.
But there is also something unsettling about watching a person slowly vanish beneath it.
Layer after layer, the original body becomes harder to find.
Until eventually, there is no skin left untouched.
Only the color remains.
