Nothing beautiful begins fully formed.

Somewhere in the darkness, beneath a thin and fragile shell, something is growing. Fed by warmth, time, and whatever has been placed inside with it, the body slowly takes shape—curled tightly within a world never meant to last.

Hatching explores the strange space between creation and birth. The models are not simply photographed; they are cultivated, sealed away and allowed to become something new. Each shell holds a different creation, waiting in darkness until it has grown too large for the place that made it.

Eventually, the shell must break.

What crawls, tears, or emerges from within may resemble the beautiful thing that was placed there.

But growth changes everything.

And sometimes, what hatches is not quite what was put inside.
